Personality:

♦ hardworking | he wants to prove people wrong when they underestimate him. This makes him pretty persistent, once he has started on something he'll definitely see through to it 'til the end.

♦ passionate | He does everything with his heart and soul. He believes that nothing can be achieved without putting your everything into it.

♦ neat freak | He likes cleanliness and would freak out if his things will be dirtied. It’s not a very healthy thing since he’s really clumsy and always makes a lot of mess thus making his stupid head very unstable as it already is. lmao

♦ nerd | he likes to read very much that he has prolly read most of the books in their town’s public library -since he likes learning new things and stuff. Although he may know a lot of things through reading and research he has actually little to no real life experience so he just keeps his mouth shut about knowing something and just observe instead.

♦ shy | well, he really didn't feel like he received any affection from his parents when he was young (middle child complex) at least not as how he saw his parents treated his other siblings so he has no confidence at all. He’s awkward so he’s usually alone reading books or feeding Kuro but he wont retreat when spoken too. He's soft spoken at first, but when he's become comfortable around someone he'll easily loosen up and show his warm and childish personality.

♦ thick-headed | since affections and stuff are foreign to him, he doesn’t know when it is directed to him unless he is told so.

♦ possessive | yes. rather, he sulks easily when something he thinks is his or something/someone important to him is being taken away from him. even though this saddens him, he'll deny that it is bothering him.

History:

Kaiu is the middle child in a family of five. His father is a factory worker as well as his older brother. His mother does a small business of selling coats and sweaters she made herself with the help of her daughter. They live a pretty normal life in Eclipsia too normal in fact that it bothers Kaiu.

He had always hated being the middle child. His older brother always gained more favors from their father and his sister to their mother. He was always left out though not intentionally as it was. He tried to find out the things he was good at to make his parents look at him but never seemed to have any success on any of them.

Although he doesn’t notice it, he is actually an avid researcher, he likes to read books and know about things his age doesn’t usually know or take interest to. This hobby of him made him want to leave the house to search for his own true calling and to go on a great adventure. Of course, when he let his parents knew of his decision to join as a recruit he was forbidden to go. They told him to stay in the island and simply just find work in the factories and live a peaceful and simple life; that he shouldn’t involve himself with troublesome and dangerous things. This infuriated Kaiu so he ran away and went a long way to travel to Caissa’s island.

Miscellaneous:

♦ when he ran away, he found a raven on the snow, barely alive, he nursed it back to health and kept it as a pet.
♦ and he named it, Kuro.
♦ He may seem well composed and fully capable to fight but he's actually a klutz and a wimp who cant even lift a hammer or kill a fly.
♦ Kuro is a tsuntsun raven, too. _{/amggg like father, like son? //slapped. Amggg I mean like master, like pet?}
♦ so Kuro pecks Kaiu when Kaiu is being nice to him.
♦ Kaiu still keeps kuro despite this (it’s hard to have a bird as your only friend, ofc you’d be desperate to keep it) _{amgg does this make you maso, Kaiu?! Your mother would be sad}
♦ A very fidgety character. AMGGGGG. though he can just speak fine...but usually doesnt stare at people's eyes...more like just stare past them..making the illusion that he's actually staring at them
♦ since he really doesn't know much about human interaction he comes off really honest and straight to the point.
